Jane Corry is a six-times Sunday Times best-selling author, published by Penguin. She is also a Washington Post best-seller and has sold over a million copies worldwide in over 20 countries including the States.
Jane went to North London Collegiate School and then read English at Reading University before training as a journalist with the Thomson organisation. This led to a career as a features writer during which she wrote for Woman, Woman’s Own, Woman & Home, Good Housekeeping, The Daily Express and numerous other publications.
She is a regular contributor to The Daily Telegraph; a short story writer; a columnist for My Weekly magazine; a former creative writing tutor at Oxford University; a former writer-in-residence at high-security male prison (which changed her life); a life-story arts judge for the Koestler Awards, given to men and women in prison; a former Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Exeter University; a runner up in the Harry Bowling Award; a winner of the Elizabeth Goudge trophy for short stories and the Vera Brittain cup for short stories.
However, it was her move to prison that really changed her career; a job that she initially took for financial reasons but became passionate about, despite reservations from friends and family,
